One of the main developers of Starfield said its new update is not Starfield 2.0. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 soon. This was announced on Tuesday.
There will be two new content packs. The first is Terran Armada. This is a paid story expansion with new characters, places, enemies, and quests. The second pack is Free Lanes. This will be free for all players. Free Lanes will add more features, including travel between planets and new areas to explore. It will also include a new vehicle called the Moon Jumper.
Timothy Lamb, the lead creative producer, spoke to the press about Free Lanes. He thinks it is the best version of Starfield but does not want to call it 2.0. He said this label has a special meaning, and he prefers to call it an improvement.
Lamb also said there will be more content for Starfield in the future. The game will launch on PlayStation 5 on April 7, costing $49.99/£44.99 for the Standard Edition.
