Jon Stewart will grace the show with his presence on the final night of the convention in a live broadcast, as previously revealed by The Hollywood Reporter. The rest of the week’s schedule is also set, with the show’s correspondents taking turns as hosts from Monday to Wednesday, and a lineup of esteemed guests in place.
From Monday to Wednesday, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, and Jordan Klepper will take on hosting duties, interviewing guests like Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Illinois Rep. Lauren Underwood, and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore respectively. Stewart will conclude the week with a live telecast on Thursday at 11:30 p.m. ET, half an hour later than the usual show time.
The Daily Show has been a staple at major political conventions since 2000, except for the scaled-back 2020 conventions conducted remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
