Wilson/Magellan Middle School gears up for National Science Bowl in Washington D.C.

Appleton, Wisconsin – Wilson/Magellan Middle School recently triumphed at the regional science bowl, earning a spot in the national competition in Washington, D.C. The team’s impressive win against 25 other schools marked their debut in the competition.

“We are incredibly proud of our students’ performance at the Regional Science Bowl,” said Science Teacher and Coach Abigail Karrels. The team’s dedication and passion for science have earned them the opportunity to represent Wisconsin at the national level.

The U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl challenges students in various scientific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, and physics. Middle and high school teams compete in a fast-paced quiz format, testing their knowledge and skills.

The team is eagerly preparing for the upcoming competition, where they will showcase their scientific prowess alongside other students from across the nation. Stay tuned for updates on their journey towards the national title.
