Blake Lively’s Absence From Swift-Kelce Wedding Sparks Debate

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently celebrated their wedding at Madison Square Garden, attended by numerous high-profile celebrities. However, Blake Lively, once a close friend of Swift, was notably absent from the guest list. This absence appears intentional, according to several reports.

Maria “Ria” Ciuffo remarked on the podcast Chicks in the Office, suggesting that Lively and Swift’s friendship has ended. She expressed that Lively must be very upset with Swift, as everyone else was invited to the wedding. Ciuffo emphasized the seriousness of their falling out, claiming they are no longer friends.

Swift and Lively’s friendship began in 2015, sparked by a playful comment Lively made on social media regarding Swift’s "Bad Blood" video. Their bond grew quickly, and they regularly supported one another at various events, with Swift becoming a godmother to Lively’s children.

However, the situation changed significantly in early 2025. Justin Baldoni, who directed Lively in the film It Ends With Us, filed a countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. This legal conflict also affected Swift, leading to speculation that it strained her friendship with Lively.

On July 2, the day before the wedding, Lively and Reynolds were seen in Lake Placid, while Swift married Kelce the following day in front of approximately 1,000 guests, again without Lively. Sources say that Swift now prefers to surround herself with people she trusts and feels that her friendship with Lively is beyond repair. What was once a legal issue now threatens to irreparably damage their relationship.
