NBC has announced a new celebrity edition of “The Voice,” which has raised questions among fans about Keke Palmer replacing Carson Daly as host. This change marks the first time in the show’s 30 seasons that a different presenter will lead the programme.
In response to fan concerns, Daly shared details on Instagram, explaining that he is stepping away from hosting the regular version of “The Voice” temporarily. He praised Palmer as the “perfect fit” for the new spin-off, describing her as a “triple threat queen” and expressing gratitude for her participation.
Daly also addressed his ongoing role with the show. He clarified that he is not leaving but will be trying out this new format alongside the original. He mentioned, “We’re gonna try out these two formats this fall/spring and see how it goes!” This reassured fans about his continued involvement as both a host and producer of the series.
Season 30 of “The Voice” will premiere on September 21, with Daly returning to his hosting role. He will be joined by original coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, along with new coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green.
“The Voice: Celebrity” is set to launch in Spring 2027, featuring a variety of contestants, including actors and musicians. The new show will also introduce various segments, such as Voice Boot Camp and the VIP Room, to give fans a deeper look into the competition and preparation.
