Meghan Markle has celebrated her 45th birthday. The Duchess of Sussex marked the occasion on August 4 by sharing photos and videos on Instagram. In a black-and-white photo, she is jumping into a pool while holding a dozen balloons. She wears a black swimsuit and sunglasses, raising her arms happily.
In her Instagram post, Meghan wrote, “Thank you for the birthday love!” and added a red balloon emoji. She shared the same photos on her Instagram story as well.
Meghan also posted two videos on her story. In one, she dances in the kitchen wearing white pants and a shirt that says “It’s Giving Mrs.” while wearing a birthday crown. Balloons sit on the counter, and food seems to be cooking nearby.
In another video, Meghan and Prince Harry try to keep party hats on their dogs, Mia and Pula. The beagle Mia lays down with her hat slipping off, while Pula plays with her hat in her mouth. Meghan decides to take off the hats after a few attempts to keep them on.
Recently, Meghan has shared vacation photos from her summer holiday, including visits to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s childhood home. The family also returned to the UK for events related to the Invictus Games and had a reunion with King Charles III and Queen Camilla. This was the first time the king had seen his grandchildren since 2019.
