Cheryl Hines has announced that she is currently penning a book addressing the “rumors” that she and her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., have navigated amidst allegations of infidelity involving political reporter Olivia Nuzzi.
“Urged by a torrent of emotions triggered by these rumors!” Hines disclosed to Us Weekly during Saturday’s Groundlings 50th Anniversary Event in Los Angeles, where she was seen wearing her wedding ring. She elaborated, “All of this will be detailed in my upcoming book. I’ve been diligently jotting down notes—serious notes!”
In light of the speculation surrounding her ten-year marriage, Hines emphasized her commitment to cherishing time spent with her family. “They bring so much joy. If I had a dull family, it would be a challenge,” she remarked. She expressed the importance of embracing life’s uncertainties rather than resisting them, promoting a mindset of openness to whatever experiences may arise.
The “RV” actress underscored her focus on savoring the “little moments,” while maintaining perspective. “Even in those serious situations, I strive to find levity!” remarked Hines, who is 59.
Hines has a 20-year-old daughter, Catherine Rose, from her previous marriage to Paul Young, while Kennedy has multiple children—Bobby, Kathleen, Conor, Kyra, William, and Aidan—from earlier relationships. The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star also shared insights into sustaining a long-lasting marriage, asserting that a strong connection with one’s partner is paramount.
“There has to be a bond,” she explained, noting that it allows couples to weather storms together. Reflecting on her relationship with Kennedy, she acknowledged their flexibility in adapting to life’s unexpected turns, encapsulating their journey since they began dating in 2011.
While Kennedy’s political endeavors at times evoke mixed sentiments, Hines remains steadfast in her belief that their connection transcends such external turmoil.
