Team WWE stayed in Brooklyn after the live Oct. 25 SmackDown to tape the Nov. 1 episode before heading to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel. The main event for the upcoming show will feature WWE champion Cody Rhodes teaming up with Randy Orton to take on WWE World Heavyweight champ Gunther and Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser in a tag team match.
Other matches included Street Profits defeating Pretty Deadly, IYO SKY winning a 4-way match against Bianca Belair, Lash Legend, and Piper Niven, and Liv Morgan besting Tiffany Stratton. The women’s division saw Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, and Tiffany Stratton engage in a heated confrontation setting up future matches.
A promo segment with Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline teased tension within the faction. The night concluded with Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton claiming victory over Gunther & Ludwig Kaiser, only for Kevin Owens to attack Orton with a steel chair, leading to chaos in the ring.
With all the drama and action, the Nov. 1 episode of SmackDown promises to be exciting and worth tuning in to next Friday!
