NCSE has a new program for science teachers in the U.S. They will get training close to home. The goal is to help teachers teach topics like climate change and evolution better. They will learn new teaching methods to help students understand these topics. The program will also teach teachers how to deal with wrong information. NCSE has made activities like Climate Change Story Shorts to help with this.
Teachers can use a new map on the NCSE website to find training near them. NCSE has already trained teachers in seven states this year. They have worked with individual teachers and groups like the National Association for Research in Science Teaching. The program is led by NCSE staff, who want to help teachers in their communities.
