Patch 1.27.0 for the game “Raiders!” is currently being deployed, prompting players to restart their game to download the update. This release addresses player feedback following the launch of the “Riven Tides” expansion, with developers committed to refining the gameplay experience.
Changes in the game include the introduction of the Corsaro Set and a Mutton Chops facial hair bundle available in the store. Significant fixes have been implemented, such as making Turbine attacks visible from greater distances and allowing players to drop items while defending against Ticks, which are hostile creatures in the game. Additionally, improvements were made to the visibility of proximity mines and the landing behaviour of the Turbine to enhance gameplay.
Audio issues were also rectified in this update. For instance, the sound effects generated by the Turbine had previously overwhelmed other game sounds, but this has now been adjusted for better balance. Furthermore, the distance from which a Turbine’s sound can be heard has been increased. Other fixes have addressed audio feedback in vegetation-dense areas and improved item usage animations.
The patch also included updates to player animations and outfit aesthetics, such as the Howdy emote which can now be performed while sprinting, alongside more accurately representing the colours of the Rachetta outfit.
Specific area-related fixes were made to enhance gameplay in “Riven Tides,” including rectifying the “Field Depot” point of interest for quest purposes and addressing issues of floating or buried items.
Developers continue to monitor the game’s performance and player experiences as they prepare future updates to improve balance and address any ongoing issues.
