Since 2021, Pokemon trading card game (TCG) conventions have become popular in the U.S. These events focus on buying and selling cards. Many fans come to invest in cards.
“Card Party” is different. It encourages fans to connect with each other. At this convention, you can buy and sell cards, but the main focus is fun and community. It has games, activities, and talks with creators.
Now in its fourth year, Card Party is the only event that joins many well-known members of the Pokemon TCG community. This year, it will take place in San Diego. Over 8,000 fans and many vendors attended the last event in Seattle. Pat Flynn, a popular Pokemon creator, helps organise Card Party.
When fans arrive, they are placed in teams. Teams compete in fun games and challenges. At night, everyone gathers for shows and live events. Fans enjoy the friendly atmosphere and make new friends. Card Party creates a welcoming space for all Pokemon lovers.
