Aidan Bowmen, a freshman at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, started singing at a young age and began playing the guitar after his brother passed away. He auditioned for Season 22 of American Idol and impressed judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan with a Chris Stapleton song. He has also released his first single and performed at the Virginia-Kentucky district fair. Aidan’s mother, Crystal, is proud of his growth in confidence and musical talent. She is happy to see him pursue his passion for music and believes he deserves all the success. Aidan hopes to continue creating music that everyone can relate to and aspires for his music to be appreciated in five years.
