Many people in the UK are having trouble using their banking apps. The Lloyds Bank app had over 4,000 reports of technical issues on Friday. Users also had problems with the Halifax, TSB, and Bank of Scotland apps. These banks are all part of Lloyds Banking Group. A spokesperson from Lloyds Bank said they are aware of the issues and are working to fix them. Some customers shared screenshots showing error messages when trying to use the app. This happened on a payday for many people in the UK. Customers were unable to access their accounts to pay staff or transfer funds. Similar issues happened in January with Barclays bank, causing problems for customers. The Treasury Committee is now asking banks for information about these IT failures and their impact on customers.
