Devils Lake’s Dockside Entertainment Center is now open after years of hard work – Grand Forks Herald

A new family entertainment center called Dockside has opened in Devils Lake, thanks to a sales tax initiative passed in 2022. The center, which used to be a grocery store, offers various attractions such as bowling lanes, sports simulators, an indoor playground, multi-sport courts, and more. It has been a hit since opening day, with local students visiting on field trips. The park district, which funded the project with the sales tax increase, also added a turf baseball field and a fishing pond. The goal is for Dockside to be self-sustaining so that the district can focus on future projects based on community feedback. Residents are thrilled with the new center, and the district is excited about the positive response. The project manager, Christy Remmick, is proud to see the community enjoying the facility that took years of effort to bring to life.
