There is a meteorshower called Perseids. It is happening now until the end of August. This meteorshower is very busy every year. The peak already passed, but you can still see meteors tonight and this weekend. These meteors come from the Swift-Tuttle Comet. You can see them in the northern sky in a dark place without too much light. Around 50 meteors per hour can be seen until the end of August. After midnight is the best time to look for them. The full moon on August 19 might make it harder to see the meteors next week due to more moonlight. In the future, there are three more meteor showers in 2024: Orionids in October, Taurids in November, and Geminids in December.
