The new video game “EverQuest Legends” will let players choose the Kerran cat race as characters. This game is a reboot of the 25-year-old “EverQuest” series and will launch on July 28.
The news was shared at the San Diego Comic-Con event. David Youssefi, a producer of the game, said the Kerran will look like the creatures from the original game. The team will update the graphics to make them playable for the first time.
“EverQuest Legends” is made by a new studio called Game Jawn with help from the publisher Daybreak. Developers are big fans of “EverQuest.” They want to give players a fresh experience while keeping elements from the original 1999 game.
Fans have asked for the Kerran race for a long time. Youssefi noted how popular cats are, which helped the decision. He said the game will also be friendly for new players, while still allowing small groups to play together.
The goal is for players to enjoy “EverQuest Legends” in a relaxed way, either alone or with friends.
