Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy 14 will come to Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be available in August.
There will be a free early access period for about a month. After this, players will need a separate subscription to play on Switch 2. However, they will not need a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Players who already have a subscription on other platforms will get half the price for the Switch 2 version.
The news was shared at the game’s Fan Festival today. During this event, there was also a crossover with Evangelion. Another important update is about the game’s next chapter, called Evercold. This chapter is planned for January 2027.
New players can enjoy Final Fantasy 14 Online with three famous parts: A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood. Players can join over 30 million others worldwide. They can choose to play with friends or alone. There are many exciting stories and battles to explore in this game world.
