In the wake of the tragic passing of Liam Payne, three unidentified individuals have been apprehended and charged in relation to his untimely demise; a close confidant of the singer has taken a resolute stance to affirm his innocence amidst mounting allegations.
Rogelio “Roger” Nores, who asserts that he was with Payne merely 40 minutes prior to the incident, articulated in a statement to the Daily Mail that he has been devoid of any communication with law enforcement since providing a witness statement following Payne’s fall from the third floor of a Buenos Aires hotel on October 16.
A communiqué issued on November 7 by Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office disclosed that the suspects face charges of abandonment resulting in death and the facilitation of narcotics. Notably, one suspect is reportedly the individual who accompanied the artist throughout his stay in Buenos Aires.
“I never abandoned Liam,” insisted Nores. “I visited his hotel thrice that day, departing just 40 minutes before this tragedy unfolded. There were over 15 individuals socializing with him in the lobby when I left. I could never fathom that such an event would transpire.”

Nores, who remains inaccessible for further comment, conveyed his dismay over the unfolding tragedy, stating, “I wasn’t Liam’s manager; he was an incredibly dear friend. My heart aches daily in his absence.”
The authorities revealed that they have conducted multiple raids in connection with the case, identifying a second suspect as a hotel staff member accused of supplying cocaine to Payne, while the third individual is purportedly linked to narcotics distribution.
According to their report, Payne was in a state of diminished consciousness at the time of the fall, suggesting illicit activity preceding his tragic demise.
Furthermore, traces of polydrug use, encompassing alcohol, cocaine, and a prescription antidepressant, were present in his system. His body has since been returned to his family in the United Kingdom following investigative protocols.
