Colorectal cancer can originate either in the colon or the rectum, depending on where it begins, as explained by the American Cancer Society.

Despite this significant health challenge, Van Der Beek continues to engage in his acting career, recently making a cameo in The CW series “Walker.” He is also set to star in the Tubi original film “Sidelined: The QB and Me,” which is scheduled for release on November 29.

On the personal front, he has been sharing cherished family moments with his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, and their six children via social media. Last week, they joyfully celebrated Halloween together, a festive occasion he enthusiastically shared on Instagram.
