Early next year, construction will start on a large building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center to get the Dream Chaser space plane ready for its trips to space. All Points Logistics, a company based in Merritt Island, will help with the preparations for the uncrewed space plane. The new facility will be built on 60 acres near NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building.
The Dream Chaser, named Tenacity, is set to launch on a United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. It will carry supplies to the International Space Station before returning to Earth and landing at Kennedy Space Center.
Sierra Space is excited about the new facility because it will make it easier to prepare the Dream Chaser for its missions. All Points Logistics is also talking to other companies about using the space for their projects.
