Trump Appoints Gibson, Stallone, Voight as Hollywood’s ‘Special Ambassadors’

Donald Trump has chosen Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, and Sylvester Stallone to help Hollywood. He calls them “special ambassadors”. Trump announced this on Truth Social, four days before he becomes president. He says these three men are very talented. They will help bring Hollywood back to success.

Trump has often said negative things about Hollywood. This is because many movie stars supported Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. He makes this announcement at a tough time for Hollywood. Wildfires in southern California have caused a lot of damage. Many people in the movie industry have lost their homes. Businesses have also suffered a lot.

The US cinema business is not doing well. It has been struggling since the Covid pandemic. The income of US cinemas in 2024 was less than in 2019.

The three ambassadors are also known for some controversy. Gibson made rude comments about different races in 2006. Voight strongly supports Trump. Stallone supported Trump in his 2024 campaign. He said Trump was like George Washington.

It is not clear if the three men will go to Trump’s inauguration on Monday. The event will have singing from Carrie Underwood. There will also be performances from Jason Aldean and Kid Rock. They have supported Trump for a long time.
