The U.S. Postal Service has shared plans for a new stamp. It will honor the TV actress Betty White. The stamp will be available in 2025.
Betty White was a well-liked TV star. She acted in TV shows like “The Golden Girls”. The stamp shows her with a big smile on a purple background.
The stamp will come as one of 20 on a sheet. The Postal Service says it shows White’s fun spirit. They have not yet said when the stamp will start being sold.
The Postal Service also shows other new stamps for 2025. One is for Allen Toussaint, a famous musician. They honor him as a great piano player and song creator.
Betty White died at 99 years old in 2021. She was honored with connections to TV shows and won five Emmy awards. A movie about her life was made to celebrate what would have been her 100th birthday.
