County Records Highest Gas Prices in America

The gas station in her town sells fuel for $7.50 a gallon. The average price in Mono County is $6.72, according to AAA. Lyn says they limit their trips to the grocery store, which is 20 miles away. She often rides a bicycle or uses a golf cart instead of driving.

Gas prices are rising in the USA. A war in Iran is making this worse. The prices have gone up $1.14 since the war began. In California, it is $1.29 more expensive.
