Ingrid’s Moveset and Mechanics Unveiled for Street Fighter 6

Ingrid has finally received her gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6, ten months after her first reveal. This new character brings interesting abilities that players are eager to explore.

Capcom, the game’s developer, also shared details about Ingrid’s moves and mechanics. Her first special move is called Sun Shot. This is a projectile that appears on the screen for a moment before shooting forward. Players can change its speed and angle by using different buttons.

Ingrid has a unique mechanic called Sun Crests, which she can stock up like other characters’ moves. These Sun Crests are used for her Sun Flare special, a faster beam projectile. She can even store Sun Crests while jumping. Ingrid’s traditional kick specials have been combined into a move called Sun Rise, with different strength versions that serve various purposes.

To enhance her defence, Ingrid can use Sun Veil, a counter that absorbs projectiles and attacks but cannot stop Super moves. Additionally, Vanishing Sun lets her teleport while attacking or escaping pressure.

Capcom describes Ingrid as a long-range character who can use projectiles effectively while also being able to teleport. Players can expect her to launch with Outfit 3 DLC on May 28.
