Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are a real-life couple. They reunited on the show SmackDown last year after Black returned from a break following WrestleMania 41. Black had been set for a major storyline with Randy Orton, but this changed due to the Pat McAfee situation. Another shocking departure is Kairi Sane, a former Women’s Tag Team Champion. She was in the middle of an important storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY when she left the company.
Other names leaving include Apollo Crews, Santos Escobar, and the Motor City Machine Guns, who were former tag team champions.
Nikki Cross, a former Women’s Champion, announced her departure on social media. She has been with WWE for over ten years and spent much of the last two years in the group known as the Wyatt Sicks.
