Blood of Dawnwalker PC System Requirements Announced

The Blood of Dawnwalker has a release date, and the developer, Rebel Wolves, has announced the system requirements for PCs. These requirements are quite demanding.

Rebel Wolves has provided a chart that shows the hardware needed to play the game at different settings, including lowest and highest quality. To run the game at minimum settings, players will need either an RTX 3050 or a GTX 1070. This will allow the game to run at 1080p resolution and a frame rate of 30 frames per second (fps). For the best experience, players should have an RTX 5090, which is currently one of the most expensive graphics cards available.

The RTX 5090 was released in January 2026 for $1,999, but its price has increased significantly to around $3,699. This high-end setup is necessary for playing in 4K resolution, which does not include any performance-enhancing features like DLSS or FSR, technologies that improve game visuals without overloading the GPU.

It is unclear whether these high requirements are due to bad optimisation or if the game is genuinely resource-heavy. Rebel Wolves consists of many former employees from CD Projekt Red, a company known for developing graphically demanding games.

The game is set to launch on September 3. Many are eager to see how well it performs on different GPUs, hoping it will utilise the powerful hardware effectively.
