SpaceX will launch its 90th Falcon 9 rocket this year from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Tuesday. This flight will happen before the company talks about its financial results as a public company.
The Starlink 17-53 mission will send 24 new satellites into space. These satellites will help provide internet service. SpaceX already has over 10,800 satellites in orbit, which is a specific area in space.
The rocket will launch at 10:05 a.m. PDT. It will go on a south-southwest direction as it leaves the launch pad. Spaceflight Now will show the event live about 30 minutes before the launch.
The Falcon 9 rocket will use a first stage booster named B1063. This booster will make its 34th flight. It has already launched for NASA and other agencies.
Around 8.5 minutes after takeoff, the booster will land on a droneship. This ship is in the Pacific Ocean. If it lands successfully, it will be the 215th landing on this ship.
Later, SpaceX will have a financial talk at 4 p.m. EDT. This will be the first time the company shares its financial results. They are also getting ready for other important missions, including one for NASA.
