The new game NTE: Neverness to Everness will fully utilise the PS5 Pro’s power. It aims to provide a clear, stable 4K output at 60Hz without any shimmer. This was announced on the PlayStation Blog, which also revealed that the game will use advanced features of the console. These include higher resolution graphics and effects like volumetric fog, which creates a realistic fog effect in games, and Distance Field Ambient Occlusion. This technique helps make shadows appear more accurate in a 3D scene.
Players who tried the pre-release beta on a standard PS5 found the experience very smooth. Many believe it is much better than Tower of Fantasy, another game by the same team, which was adapted for consoles by a different company.
The game will also make full use of the DualSense controller. Producer Kee Zhang shared details about its features. Haptic feedback will let players feel actions like combat strikes, while adaptive triggers will create resistance when driving. Additionally, special light effects will be included for certain characters.
Recently, a livestream announced collaborations with Persona 5 Royal and revealed new content for the game’s launch on 29th April. Players can expect to experience exciting gameplay and many features from day one.
