Firaxis has announced a new virtual reality game called Civilization 7 – VR.
This game will come out in spring 2025. It is special because it is the first Civilization game in virtual reality. It will only be available on Meta Quest 3 and 3S.
2K Games, the publisher, said that PlaySide Studios is making the game. PlaySide has made other VR games, like The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.
In Civilization 7 – VR, players will look down at the world on a table. They can see buildings and units up close, like a real-life game. Players will meet famous leaders and make choices about peace or war.
The game can be played in virtual reality or mixed reality. Players can switch between the two. They can also play solo or join with up to three friends online.
Firaxis is also working on fixing problems that some players have said they did not like in Civilization 7.
