Former Child Actor Sues Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for Sexual Assault

A former child actor has alleged that Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted him at a networking event in the Hollywood Hills in 2007. The accusation comes as the plaintiff filed a lawsuit against Combs this week in California, a document that CNN has acquired.

This lawsuit adds to the numerous legal challenges currently facing Combs, who is incarcerated while appealing a federal conviction in New York on charges related to prostitution. He received a sentence of over four years for these crimes and has an additional case under review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

According to the complaint, Combs reportedly guided the child actor to a private backroom, where he offered him an alcoholic drink before allegedly touching the minor and performing oral sex on him. A representative for Combs has denied these allegations, asserting that they are entirely fabricated.

The accuser, who has filed under the pseudonym “John YH Roe,” claimed that Combs expressed interest in discussing potential opportunities with him, suggesting he would be suitable for an upcoming project. However, once in seclusion, the complaint details a series of inappropriate physical interactions, which the minor reportedly found uncomfortable.

In addition to suing Combs, the plaintiff also holds his former talent agency accountable, asserting they failed to ensure his safety at the event, as he should have been accompanied by an adult chaperone.

This incident is not isolated; previous allegations against Combs include similar accusations from other minors, prompting ongoing scrutiny of his behaviour within professional settings. Combs has consistently denied all claims of sexual misconduct. Following recent developments, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is evaluating whether sufficient evidence exists to pursue further charges against him.
