Veterans of the Armageddon box will soon receive standalone releases, allowing players to expand their armies with additional Weirdboyz, Dakkarigs, Wartrakks, and more. The upcoming release, titled Armageddon Kommand Krew, will include the Bigboss, Bannernob, and Painboy, alongside other units, each presented in their own dedicated package.
The introduction of various detachments has increased the complexity of gameplay. To alleviate confusion during battles, a new Command Pack has been designed. This pack contains 94 reference cards for detachments, stratagems (tactical plans), and enhancements, along with double-sided tokens to monitor critical statuses in the game. These include effects such as stat penalties from unit rules as well as special abilities like Wazdakka Gutsmek’s Pulse Jet ability.
In addition, the Orks faction will unveil a set of dice specifically representing their Codex. These dice are a vibrant green, featuring red pips and the faction’s logo on the six face. This release is characteristic of new faction launches, as exclusive dice often accompany them.
Furthermore, players can anticipate additional Orks from the latest Codex. The ongoing global campaign, named the Siege of Death Mire, offers players the chance to engage with the new rules until 13 July. Participants can align themselves with the Space Marine or Ork factions, regardless of their primary army.
Weekly victories in this campaign will reveal new models, with the overall winner earning a completely new detachment. The results of these games will determine the fate of Hive Death Mire, permanently integrating its history into the Warhammer 40,000 canon. The excitement continues as players are encouraged to explore more announcements from the event.
