Arrokuda and Cramorant will join Pokémon GO on August 18, 2026, in a special event called the Ultra Unlock: Water Festival. This event starts at 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday and ends at 8:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026. There will be a new GO Pass, special Pokémon, and bonuses for players.
During the Water Festival, trainers can earn extra rewards. They can catch the new Pokémon, Arrokuda, using Rainy Lure Modules. There will also be a better chance to find Shiny Ducklett and Shiny Dewpider. Players will earn double XP and triple Stardust for catching Pokémon.
Cramorant will appear in battles and from Eggs. Trainers will see Cramorant more in the GO Battle League after reaching Rank 16. The event will have task rewards to earn special items and Pokémon.
Trainers can begin using the GO Pass on August 18. They will receive rewards until August 24. Players should claim their rewards by August 26, 2026, before they expire.
