Seth Rogen Teases Possible Sequel to Beloved 2008 Comedy

Seth Rogen is a well-known actor in comedy movies. He has made films like Sausage Party and Neighbors. One movie fans want a sequel for is Pineapple Express.

On the show Watch What Happens Live, Rogen talked about a possible sequel. Host Andy Cohen asked a fan question about this.

Rogen said, “Maybe. We could sell it to streaming.”

Cohen mentioned that Hollywood likes making sequels. For example, Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore has a sequel on Netflix.

Rogen added, “I’m not great with sequels, but maybe one day.” When Pineapple Express came out, it was very popular and made over $100 million.

In 2020, Rogen said they tried to make a sequel but plans changed.

One big question is if James Franco would return for the sequel. They are not friends now because of past issues.
