Steve Maclin has departed from TNA Wrestling. The company confirmed on Sunday that both Maclin and Myla Grace have been released, stating, “TNA Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Myla Grace & Steve Maclin, effective immediately. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp announced on social media that Maclin’s release had been granted. Maclin himself later confirmed this, saying he had requested his release the previous week and expressed gratitude for his five years with TNA, concluding with “But now, it’s time to STACK BODIES. See you soon.”
Maclin’s last appearance was at TNA’s May 15 tapings in Sacramento, California, where he lost a match for the TNA World Championship against Mike Santana. Prior to this, he sustained an injury during the main event at TNA Sacrifice on March 27, where the match was stopped early due to a perceived knockout, although it was later established that he had not suffered a concussion.
Reports indicated that Maclin signed a new contract with TNA in January, although the contract’s duration was not revealed. Additionally, he won a briefcase in the 2026 Feast or Fired match, which typically carries a termination notice, yet he was not fired and instead received a title opportunity against Santana at Sacrifice.
What happens next for Maclin remains unclear, but he has signalled his intent to pursue new opportunities.
