Anthropic Increases Claude Code Limits After SpaceX Deal

At its developer conference in San Francisco, Anthropic announced a new deal with SpaceX. This deal gives Anthropic access to the full computing power of SpaceX’s data centre in Memphis, Tennessee. The goal is to improve usage limits for certain Anthropic subscribers.

During the conference, CEO Dario Amodei explained that the deal will double the usage limits for Pro and Max plan subscribers. It will also remove some restrictions during busy hours and increase limits for their Opus model. These changes were outlined in a blog post by Anthropic.

With this deal, Anthropic gains over 300 megawatts of extra computing power. SpaceX highlighted its Colossus 1 supercomputer, which has over 220,000 powerful NVIDIA GPUs. These are special computer chips that help with complex processing tasks.
