Daniel Coleman, a well-known children’s YouTuber better recognised as Danny Go!, revealed on Friday that his 14-year-old son has died, five months after a cancer diagnosis. This event has resonated deeply within the online community and among his followers worldwide.
Coleman expressed profound grief in a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram, stating, “There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process.” His son passed away on Thursday.
Isaac Daniel Coleman was born with Fanconi’s anaemia, a rare genetic disorder that severely hinders the body’s ability to repair DNA, increasing the likelihood of bone marrow failure and cancer, according to the Fanconi Cancer Foundation. By the age of 11, Isaac had already undergone kidney and bone marrow transplants.
In December, Coleman reported that his son was diagnosed with mouth cancer, necessitating an eight-hour surgical procedure to remove a tumour, which he described on Instagram. Despite the surgery, a post-operative update in February revealed that Isaac had developed stage 3 cancer, with the potential for microscopic remnants of the disease remaining.
As the situation worsened, Coleman made the decision to cancel his 2026 live show tour to focus on caring for his son. In a final update, he noted that Isaac’s cancer continued to spread aggressively, and he was receiving hospice care to manage pain.
Isaac, born on October 3, 2011, in Huntersville, North Carolina, faced numerous health challenges from birth. Coleman, who founded his popular YouTube channel in 2019, used his platform to promote organ donation and encourage people to register as bone marrow donors.
He concluded his tribute by celebrating Isaac’s indomitable spirit despite their struggles, leaving a legacy of love. The Coleman family includes Isaac’s younger brother, Levi, aged 10.
