The popular drama series, ‘Homicide: Life on the Street’ is to become available on the streaming platform, Peacock, from August 19. All seven seasons and 122 episodes of the former NBC show will be featured. “Homicide” will be remastered in high quality for this relaunch.
‘Homicide’ is an award-winning show that focuses on the work of detectives in Baltimore’s homicide unit. The show was praised for its strong acting and for showing detective work in a more real-life way. It stood out because it showed that not all cases get solved, unlike in many other crime dramas.
The series starred many well-known actors including Andre Braugher, who won an Emmy for his role, and Richard Belzer. The show also had a few crossovers with the detectives from NBC’s ‘Law & Order’ series.
Now fans old and new will have the chance to enjoy this classic series in a modern format.
