(Bloomberg) — Adobe Inc. is slowly releasing its new AI video tool. This has made some people worried that Adobe is falling behind OpenAI’s new service called Sora.
Two months ago, Adobe showed a new tool that can make videos from words or images using AI. But right now, only a few creators can use it. In contrast, Sora is available to many users this week.
Adobe says on its website that they want to gather feedback, so they will let only a few people test it for now. They want to make sure it is safe to use.
The company will share more details in the coming weeks. Adobe’s new video tool is part of the Firefly AI family. A tool in Premiere, their video-editing app, helps users make clips longer with AI.
Some experts worry that new AI tools could take users away from Adobe’s products. This could hurt Adobe’s business.
