Australian actress Rebel Wilson’s autobiography has been published in the UK with some parts removed. The important section that was taken out has caused controversy. The book was also published in the US and it caused a fuss when Wilson accused another actor, Sacha Baron Cohen.
When the book was published in the UK, there was an area that was blacked out. Many believe this part was about Baron Cohen. A message was included explaining that the part was removed because of UK law. A spokesman for Baron Cohen said they were pleased about the change and repeated that Wilson’s accusations were not true.
The publisher, HarperCollins, has said the book is fully published except for one page. They also said the missing parts are not very important compared to the rest of Wilson’s story. The UK version of the book has also had some sentences removed. Baron Cohen insists that he is not guilty and believes that Wilson has made up these claims to sell her book.
