Roberto Cavalli: Italian fashion designer dies aged 83

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has died. He was 83 years old. Cavalli was known for making clothes with animal prints. He made clothes for famous people like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

The news of Cavalli’s death was announced on Instagram. But, there were not many details given. An Italian news agency reported that he died after being ill for a long time.

Cavalli was born in the city of Florence in Italy. He opened his own fashion company in 1970. In 1972 he opened a small shop in Saint-Tropez, a city in France. He also invented a special way of printing on leather.

Other than animal prints, Cavalli was known for making hippie dresses and jeans. He even designed a uniform for Playboy Bunnies once.

When asked why he used animal prints, Cavalli said he loved nature. He felt that God was the best designer. He tried to copy God’s designs.

Giorgio Armani, another fashion designer, said he will miss Cavalli. He called Cavalli a true artist and admired his unique designs. Roberto Cavalli was indeed a big name in the world of fashion. He will surely be missed.
