Several wrestlers have left WWE recently, and reports highlight surprising departures. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega, a real-life couple, are among those leaving. They had just reunited on the show SmackDown last year after Black returned from WrestleMania 41. Before this news, Black was set to work on a major story with Randy Orton.
Kairi Sane, a former Women’s Tag Team Champion, is also leaving WWE. She was involved in an important storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY. Other recent departures include Apollo Crews, Santos Escobar, and the former WWE Tag Team Champions, the Motor City Machine Guns.
Nikki Cross was the first to announce her departure last week. She shared on social media that her time with WWE had ended after more than ten years. Cross has been part of the Wyatt Sicks group but will now start a new phase in her wrestling career. In addition, Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) and Joe Gacy have also reportedly been released.
Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful confirmed these departures, noting that many wrestlers are facing contract changes. The situation remains uncertain as WWE continues to make cuts.
