Angry passengers are on a hunger strike on a luxury cruise ship. Their trip to Antarctica stopped because the ship had an engine problem.

Passengers paid a lot of money for their tickets, between $8,882 and $12,689. They are upset that the cruise company, Swan Hellenic, will not give them all their money back.
One passenger said, “This trip was a dream for many of us.”
The ship has many amenities, like a pool and a spa. It left Cape Town, South Africa, on November 13. Passengers were excited for a four-day adventure in Antarctica.
But the ship had problems, and the captain canceled their trip. Passengers could choose a 50% cash refund or a credit for future cruises.
The ship is now going slowly to fix the engine. It will arrive in Ushuaia, Argentina, soon.
