On Tuesday, the Nasdaq went up. This was because Nvidia shares rose. Investors were worried about the growing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
The Dow Jones fell 230 points, or 0.5%. The S&P 500 was down 0.1%. The Nasdaq went up 0.2%. Many people bought Treasurys for safety, which lowered yields. Gold prices also increased.
President Putin of Russia warned the U.S. about nuclear weapons. He said tensions are rising after Ukraine attacked Russia.
Walmart did well. Its shares rose 3% after it reported strong earnings and raised its outlook.
The market had mixed results. The Nasdaq went up after four losses. The Dow fell for three days in a row.
